Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing a move for Sporting Lisbon star Palhinha should they lose Ruben Neves this summer.
That’s according to A Bola, who say there have not been any official offers for the Portuguese international as yet.
But that could change in the near future if Wolves were to lose Neves at any point, with Arsenal having been linked with a move in England.
Should that happen, it would leave a hole in their midfielder, and according to A Bola, they would look to fill it with Palhinha.
The newspaper reports that Wolves have the midfielder, who was the star of the show for Sporting last season and impressive for Portugal at the Euros, ‘listed’ should Neves end up departing.
Replacing him would be a priority, and it’s believed Palhinha is the man they want to do it, although his representatives, Tranquifoot, have ‘not yet received any signals’ in that regard.
Similarly, Sporting are yet to receive any ‘concrete proposals’ for their man, but there is a belief that will change in the current window.
