One of the late stories of the summer transfer window, Wolverhampton Wanderer’s interest in Franck Kessié is becoming one of the early ones of the upcoming January market.

We’ve already covered a couple from the past month or so, and the general consensus is that while Nuno Espirito Santo’s side failed in their attempt late on, they seem convinced they can pull it off in the coming months.

The midfielder has been a regular starter under both Marco Giampaolo and Stefano Pioli this season, and but there is a belief that if the right offer from Wolves came in, Milan would listen.

That’s what SportMediaset reportedly claimed on Wednesday, relayed by Calciomercato.it, revealing the Premier League club are ‘back in love’ with the Ivory Coast international over the past few days.

They go on to explain that if a €25m offer for the player ‘were to arrive’, his exit could ‘truly materialise’ in the coming months.

That’s good news for Wolverhampton, although they would have to convince Kessié this is the right move for his career, as he was reportedly the reason why the last attempt fell through.
