Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil has failed to become a regular under Ange Postecoglou this season and could be set for an exit before the winter market closes this week.
On Monday, Corriere dello Sport stated the winger is waiting for a last-minute call to leave Spurs.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà now claims Lazio could be an option for the Tottenham player late in the window.
Pedullà says the 22-year-old’s name is still in the background at the Italian club, ‘without excluding surprises’, meaning there may be movements in this case in the next few days.
Over at LazioNews24, they state the Spain international has been on the Biancocelesti’s radar since last summer because the former Chelsea manager has a ‘good opinion’ about him. The outlet have also shared an update on Gil from journalist Alberto Abbate.
“Bryan Gil, who is in a stand-by situation, should not be excluded even if there are only a few hours left,” Abbate told NMM, relayed by LazioNews24.
In the last two winter markets, Gil went out on loan to Valencia and Sevilla, and whether another loan deal is on the cards remains to be seen.
