After being eliminated dramatically in the Champions League, the Besiktas board are hoping to bring in players that’ll help the club in the Europa League. West Ham winger Gokhan Tore is one of the players the Turkish side are looking at according to Fanatik.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman and some of the Besiktas scouts have interest in Ligue 1 attackers Paul George Ntep and Benjamin Moukandjo, but it’s been claimed their No.1 target is Tore after the Turkish winger made a disastrous start to his Premier League career.
Former Besiktas manager Slaven Bilic is the reason the Hammers signed Tore, but the 24 year old hasn’t made the impact that the Premier League side were hoping for.
Under Bilic, Tore made remarkable progress at Besiktas and became one of the key figures with the Turkish giants. However, since signing in the summer for West Ham he’s struggled, providing 1 assist in 8 games.
Tore is believed to be looking at house in Turkey already after the West Ham board told Besiktas they are prepared to let him return to his former club in January. The winger is said to be very happy about the possibility of returning to Besiktas following his experience in England.
Currently on loan at West Ham for the season, the Premier League club have an option to make the move permanent.
