Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah is attracting interest from West Ham United.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who state the Hammers are ‘willing to sign him’ in the summer.
ED have also relayed claims made elsewhere in Spain, which stated West Ham have approached the 20-year-old’s entourage to convey their interest.
It’s claimed the American’s arrival in London would be conditional on Declan Rice leaving the club.
The Conference League winners have confirmed their star’s desire to change clubs. The report states West Ham see Musah as a ‘midfielder with the potential to grow in the team’.
Valencia view Musah as a potential source of income while he’s aware that there are clubs interested in securing his services. Luckily for Moyes’ side, ED say both Los Ches and the player are ‘rushing each other’ for a transfer.
Musah’s departure is ‘closer than ever’ due to the dip in his performances last season and the La Liga side’s need to sell. He has a €100m release clause but the report says he can leave for around €25m. It’s explained that for now, West Ham are at about €20m.
It’ll be interesting to see how this case develops.
