West Ham United are interested in a move for former Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez, with a deal at €22m possible.
That’s according to Dirilis Postasi, who say West Ham have become interested in a deal this summer thanks to the defender’s performances for Galatasaray.
They report that Sanchez is ‘on his way to England again’ despite only having move from Tottenham in the summer in a €9.5m deal.
That’s because West Ham are showing an interest ahead of the summer and believe a deal can be done for around €15m for the defender, who has ‘quickly recovered his career’ in Turkey following his struggles with Tottenham.
Galatasaray want a figure closer to €20m for their man, though and will open negotiations at €25m hoping to find an agreement in the middle ground at €22m instead.
Whether West Ham are willing to add the extra €7m to a proposal for the former Tottenham man remains to be seen but their interest is there nonetheless and an effort to get him back to England after just a year away is expected.
