FutbolArena have claimed West Ham attacker Sofiane Feghouli is expected in Istanbul this week to complete his move to Galatasaray.
The Turkish giants have agreed everything with Feghouli and West Ham, which was confirmed by Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun at the weekend.
Ergun said: “We have agreed on everything with Feghouli, and his room at the training camp centre is ready and waiting for him.”
The 27 year old was expected to arrive in Istanbul yesterday to complete the formalities of the transfer deal, but FutbolArena say this has been delayed due to some personal issues with the player. Feghouli has asked the Galatasaray board for two days off before travelling to Turkey, and his request has been accepted.
Galatasaray are set to pay West Ham €5m for the winger, and Feghouli will earn €3.8m a season with the Turkish giants. It seems the player’s time with West Ham is coming to end after just one season with the club, but it isn’t likely to be a concern to the Premier League side’s supporters.
It’s worth a note of caution: The Turkish media have been reporting Feghouli to Galatasaray is almost done for around a month.
