Turkish newspaper Fanatik claim West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli is on the verge of joining Galatasaray.
The Algerian international could reportedly join his new teammates in the next few days, although making this official may take a little longer because of the paperwork.
Fanatik say Galatasaray are hoping he can be greeted by the team on Thursday at their training camp in Slovenia.
It’s been claimed Galatasaray will pay €4.5m for the West Ham player, and the attacker will reportedly will earn €3m per year with the Turkish giants.
Feghouli was strongly linked with Fenerbahçe before his move to West Ham last year, but it seems their local rivals Galatasaray are close to signing the player.
It’s been also been reported Feghouli will play as a specialist right sided midfielder for Galatasaray, following claims he was unhappy where Slaven Bilic played him last season. The 27 year old’s time at West Ham hasn’t been the success he’ll have hoped it was going to be, scoring just 4 goals in 27 appearances.
