Burnley, Tottenham and West Ham have all shown an interest in Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa this summer.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who name all three Premier League clubs as potential suitors for the midfielder this summer.
Camarasa spent last season on loan at Cardiff City and mostly impressed, despite their failure to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
Estadio report that they were keen to turn his loan into a permanent move this summer and even offered Betis €15m to make it happen.
The Spanish side turned that down, though, and decided to wait to see if any better offers arrived given Camarasa has a €25m release clause in his contract.
So far no new offers have arrived, but the newspaper states that Burnley, Tottenham and West Ham ‘have shown interest in getting his football services’ this summer.
There’s no talk of an official bid from any of the three or if they’d match Betis asking price, just that the interest was there previously.
For the moment, Camarasa is part of the squad and taking part in pre-season, but perhaps as the Premier League transfer deadline gets closer, this is a rumour that may pick up once again.
