Earlier this month, we covered a report from Calciomercato.it, who explained that scouts from Manchester United and Arsenal have watched Ajax players in action against Real Madrid.
The list of players the two Premier League clubs had planned to watch included Kasper Dolberg, who moved to the Eredivise as a teenager in 2016.
Another Italian website Calciomercato has a short story about the forward and they suggest the 21-year-old is sought after in the top flight club competition in England.
The Red Devils and the north London club don’t get a mention in the latest report, and their interest may be overblown, while two other English clubs, West Ham United and Southampton are talked about.
It is claimed that Manuel Pellegrini’s side and the Saints ‘think’ about the Denmark international, who has scored nine goals and registered one assist in 16 league appearances for Ajax.
Last October, Dolberg signed a new contract with the Dutch side and that will keep at the club until 2022.
Ajax are unlikely to sell Dolberg for a cheap price in the summer. West Ham or Southampton would have to dig deep.
