It’s soon going to be clause triggering season over in Fiorentina, and the Serie A side have already made plans for two of their current loanees to stay beyond the current season.

Those are Luis Muriel and West Ham’s Edimilson Fernandes, but Kevin Mirallas, on loan from Everton, is still in the dark regarding his future.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina have ‘yet to decide’ whether they want to keep the Belgian forward despite him ‘dreaming’ of staying.

Mirallas has previously made it clear he sees the next few years of his career away from Goodison Park, having already pre-agreed a four year contract with the Italian club should they decide to pay Everton for his permanent services.

The 31-year-old has had a rollercoaster of a season under Stefano Pioli, never quite managing to secure a regular first-team spot, starting back to back league games just once so far.

In that period, he’s made 18 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting his teammates twice.
