Reports from Turkey this Monday are once again linking Gary Medel to West Ham United.
Although the rumour has now been spread in the Turkish and Chilean media, the original story comes from Takvim, who claim the player wants to leave Besiktas at the end of the season.
According to the outlet, Medel’s entourage had a meeting with the club this weekend and made clear his wish to be gone in the summer.
Medel has still one more year of contract with Besiktas, so they will have to find a solution for his exit.
Takvim recalls that Medel has been linked to several clubs in the past few months, including West Ham, who he rejected in the January window after being convinced to stay by the Turkish side. However, it’s now claimed that his wish to join the Hammers is still in his mind.
This report is very similar to the one from Milliyet last week, who also said the player regrets not signing for the Hammers and would try again soon.
