For over a week the media around Lazio have been excited about Felipe Anderson potentially returning to the club.
Some of the reports have made a move sound like it’s on the verge of happening, however, those seem to have been pushing the situation further down the road than it actually is.
Given the Brazilian’s contract with West Ham expires at the end of June 2022, Lazio’s idea had been to loan the player and have a compulsory purchase clause of €8m next summer. Later reports made it clear the Hammers hadn’t yet agreed to this.
Turkey’s Fanatik report Anderson has been offered to Fenerbahce. It’s the player’s agents doing the offering, and the Super Lig side haven’t completely dismissed the idea.
According to the report, Fenerbahce will present the idea to their new manager and let him decide whether it’s worth making a move for the West Ham player.
Fener don’t yet have anyone in charge to make that decision. They were expected to announce their new boss on Monday, but the process has been delayed.
