West Ham United remain keen on signing Carlos Soler from Paris Saint Germain before the end of the transfer window.
That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that the 27-year-old is equally keen to get the deal done.
However, according to his information, a move cannot be completed until West Ham manage to move player’s on first.
Soler has been linked with a move away from PSG throughout this summer after Luis Enrique seemingly decided he was not a part of his plans moving forwards.
However, it is yet to be completed and Plettenberg reports this is because West Ham need to offload players first. They’ve had a busy summer of spending for Julen Lopetegui, and it seems that funds, and space in the squad, are now of limited supply.
Thus, they need to secure exits before they can proceed in negotiations to get Soler. Soler has been informed of this and is awaiting progress on the matter.
There is still the possibility that he remains at PSG but both he and West Ham would prefer that not to be the case.
