West Ham seem to be having the same issues with Lucas Perez that Arsenal also went through.
Not so long after joining, he fancies a return to Spain, and seemingly talks have already taken place with La Liga clubs and now all that needs to happen is for the Hammers to agree to a loan, and potentially continue to pay some of his wages.
Valencia are one of the club’s interested, and Deporte Valenciano point out Los Che seem to have their eyes firmly fixed on the London club, given they’re also keen on Javier Hernandez.
However, Deporte Valenciano have picked up claims from Spanish radio which, once again, make West Ham’s stance very clear on Perez.
It’s explained the club met the player’s agent on Wednesday, and made the conditions for a January exit very clear.
To leave this month it’ll have to be a permanent transfer, and it’ll cost €4m.
Valencia don’t want to pay.
Arsenal also tried to be tough in the summer 2017 window, but in the end, relented and loaned Perez to Deportivo La Coruna on August 31st.
