The Moises Caicedo saga gets more complicated each day.
Following claims that the player was wanted by Manchester United, MLS clubs, Everton and other European sides, there’s a new competitor in the race.
According to Ecuadorian journalist Jorge Pasmino, it’s now West Ham who joined the fight for the player and even made a bid for 70% of his transfer rights.
His report doesn’t say how much the Hammers have put on the table, and only claims that Independiente Del Valle are now set to analyse the offer.
Regarding Manchester United, the journalist claims the Red Devils have only asked about the player, having made no offers so far.
With Independiente Del Valle making it clear that they expect to lose Caicedo this year, the player seems to be only waiting to see where his future will be. The 19-year-old has just followed Brighton & Hove Albion on Instagram, even though the Seagulls have never been linked to him.
With other reports from Ecuador insisting that Manchester United are the club who have an agreement for Caicedo, we now wait to see if this bid from West Ham could change something.
