West Ham United’s offer for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Fillip Kostic is €15m, but there is no agreement in place as yet.
That’s according to Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenburg, who says the player is ‘open’ to a move.
Reports in the UK earlier today stated that West Ham had made their move for Kostic, with David Moyes keen to move on after missing out on Jesse Lingard.
The nature of the bid from the Hammers wasn’t made clear, but Plettenburg has now provided those details.
He reports that there is ‘definitely an official offer’ from West Ham on the table and it is a ‘big offer’ at that.
According to his information, the figure is ‘more than €15m’, and negotiations are now underway and ongoing. He also adds that Kostic is open to leaving the German side.
Whether he’s keen on the potential switch to the London Stadium isn’t clear, but it seems Moyes and co are keen to bring him in regardless.
Talks are underway to try and make it happen, and we’d expect more updates in the coming days as they pick up pace.
News #Kostic: Yes, there is definitely an official offer from West Ham on the table. Also via Sky UK and Sky Italia. It’s a big offer! More than €15m transfer fee. But no agreement between the clubs so far. Negotiations now and ongoing. Kostic is open to leave. @SkySportDE 🇷🇸
