West Ham interest in midfielder again backed up, his family fancy England move

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas midfielder Gary Medel wants a move to the Premier League this summer.

The Chilean international has been linked with a move to West Ham United in recent months and again the Hammers interest in the player is pushed by Milliyet.

West Ham had allegedly tried to sign the Chile international during the last transfer window with reports he wanted to play under his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini.

Milliyet report Medel will send his agent to Istanbul in the coming days to talk with the Besiktas board, and the representative will inform the club about his client’s decision.

It’s also claimed the player’s family are looking to leave Istanbul this summer and they too want him to play in England.

Medel is currently playing in the Copa America and Milliyet believe he will pack his bags and leave Turkey at the end of the tournament.

He still has a year left on his current Besiktas contract.
