West Ham United have pulled out of the race to sign Demba Ba before today’s deadline report GoalBien.com.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is keen to bolster his attacking options before the window closes, but the Hammers will no longer pursue the former Chelsea forward due to concerns over his fitness.

GoalBien report West Ham United were interested in Ba, but the East London club have now decided not to sign striker because it’s looking likely the player will be ruled of action for the next three weeks. Ba last year sustained a leg foot injury, which ruled him out for seven months.

With West Ham no longer interested, Turkish side Besiktas will now look set to re-sign Ba from Shangai Shenhua until the end of the season. The Besiktas board have informed the stock market that they are in talks with Demba Ba, and the Senegalese striker will today sign for the club.

Ba made his name in England playing for West Ham before his moves to Newcastle United and Chelsea. Ba played under Bilic in his first spell with Besiktas, and it seems the West Ham boss wanted to be reunited with the Senegal international.
