West Ham aren’t giving up on Kevin Malcuit, according to France’s Le10 Sport. It’s explained the Premier League club are already looking to sign Malcuit in the summer transfer window, and taking steps ahead of then to make the operation smoother.
Shortly after the close of the winter transfer window it was claimed West Ham had made two offers during January for the Saint Etienne fullback. Those offers of €8m and €10m were rejected by Les Verts who are probably well aware they could get at least the same in the summer and enjoy the benefit of Malcuit for the rest of the season.
Le10 explain that, according to their own information, West Ham have already informed involved parties of their intentions, letting them know of the continued interest and eye towards the summer window.
It will take a ‘very big proposal’ for West Ham to get their main, according to the claims, and it would be no surprise if Slaven Bilic finds there’s competition.
Malcuit is a right footed defender, who primarily plays at right back but can also operate on the left. The 25 year old has a contract with Saint Etienne until June 2019.
