West Ham United have been linked with a move for SPAL youngster Kevin Bonifazi, following claims from TMW the Premier League side will send scouts to watch the 20-year-old. Bonifazi has established himself in the SPAL team this season, and has been key in their promotion push to Serie A.
TMW have revealed West Ham United will send an official to Italy at the weekend to cast their eye over the defender. SPAL are set to meet Cesena on Sunday in a crucial game for the Serie B side, and Bonifazi is certain start the game.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic will be looking to bring in new players during the window, although Bonifazi will be seen as one for the future. West Ham already have Angelo Ogbonna at the club, with the Italy international joining from Torino in 2015.
Bonifazi started this season as a squad player for SPAL, and since the back end of November he’s become a regular for the Italian club. The young defender has made thirteen starts in SPAL’s nineteen league games this season.
