AS Roma have been very active in the sales and arrivals department this summer and that is still very much the case.

As they continue to work on a move for Kevin Danso, Tammy Abraham is expected to leave the club.

West Ham have been repeatedly named as a major candidate to sign the Englishman.

Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported that Roma are working towards Abraham’s sale and that would determine how much they can offer to Lens for Danso.

As of now, the structure of West Ham’s deal is an initial loan deal worth €2m and an obligation to buy at €22m. Abraham has opened up to the possibility of joining West Ham, as talks are ongoing about the salary.

That is exactly where the issue is, as of now. The Hammers ‘cannot reach’ Abraham’s current wage of €6m per season, a figure which is likely to be after tax.

Should he move, what the Englishman ends up earning remains to be seen but Roma are keen on signing Danso and this could play a key role in making sure that Abraham does indeed move to West Ham.
