After winning promotion to the Premier League, West Bromwich Albion’s first task will be to sign Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi, according to Turkish newspaper Aksam.
The Kosovo international has been heavily linked with a move to West Brom, following claims Slaven Bilic is a big fan of the player.
Due to grabbing the last automatic place despite a shaky end to the season, Aksam report Bilic has already begun work to strengthen his squad and signing Muriqi is his top priority.
The Turkish newspaper claim Fenerbahce value Muriqi in the region of €20m and won’t accept offers below that. Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City have also been showing an interest in the player in recent months.
He’s been linked with a move to Italy, with previous claims saying Napoli and Lazio are interested in his services.
Muriqi has scored 15 goals for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig this season and is under contract with the club until June 2023.
