Fotomac claim West Bromwich Albion are showing an interest in Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu, ahead of the next transfer window.
The Turkish newspaper report West Brom manager Tony Pulis is keen on signing the player, as he looks to strengthen his squad in the new year.
It’s been claimed Trabzonspor will demand around €12m for their prized asset, and it’s suggested West Brom will enter talks to discuss the fee.
Yokuslu has been impressing for Trabzonspor in the last couple of seasons and his performances have earned him a call up to the Turkish national team.
This is the second time within a few months West Brom have been linked with a midfielder from the Turkish top flight after they tried to sign Fenerbahce’s Josef de Souza in the last window. However, the transfer fell through when Pulis brought in Grzegorz Krychowiak on loan from PSG.
Yokuslu was also attracting interest from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, but Trabzonspor rejected the German club’s offer. The 23 year old is contracted to the Turkish side until 2020.
