West Bromwich Albion yesterday sent a scout to the game between Juventus and Crotone, according to claims in the Italian media. With the season now over West Brom boss Tony Pulis will already be looking to the next campaign, and possible targets to bring in this summer.
TMW have confirmed West Brom were on the scouting list for the game in Turin, and it’s been claimed they were getting a lowdown on Crotone pair Marcus Rohden (midfielder) and Diego Falcinelli (forward). Both players started the game against the Serie A champions, but they were unable to make in an impact during Juventus’ dominant 3-0 victory.
West Brom could look to take advantage of Crotone’s situation next weekend in any pursuit of Rohden and Falcinelli. The Italian side are on the verge of relegation to Serie B and a defeat in their final game of the season will condemn them to the second tier. This is likely to result in key players leaving the club, including the two West Brom targets.
