Fotomac today reports West Bromwich Albion sporting director Giuliano Terraneo will soon travel to Turkey for Fenerbahce midfielder Tolgay Arslan.
Earlier this week we covered claims from Turkey that new West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is keen to work with Arslan after the pair enjoyed a good relationship at Besiktas.
It’s reported Terraneo will fly to Turkey in the coming weeks to hold talks with Fenerbahce over Arslan and the Italian is hoping his good relationship with the Super Lig side will help him land the player.
The West Brom official was Fenerbahce’s sporting director during the 2014/15 season but left his role after just a year.
Since his appointment at the Hawthorns, West Brom have been linked with other players from the Super Lig.
Arslan’s contract runs until June 2022 and there’s no indication at this stage how much Fenerbahce would want for their midfielder.
However, they could look to offload him this summer after his poor performances since arriving from Besiktas in January.
