Fanatik claim West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic is keen to sign his compatriot Domagoj Vida if his club gets promoted to the Premier League for next season.

Bilic’s side were sitting six points ahead of 3rd placed Fulham before the Championship stopped due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

It’s reported the Croatian manager will be looking to strengthen his defence and signing Vida is an option for West Brom if they get out of the English second tier.

Besiktas value the player in the region of €10m, and they could sanction the sale of Vida, who’s one of the highest earners at the Super Lig club.

The pair worked together for Croatian national team in the past, and Fanatik claim there could be a reunion at West Brom.

Vida was linked with a move to Premier League after helping his country to the 2018 World Cup final, but he ended up staying at Besiktas. His contract at the Vodafone Park will expire at the end of June 2022.
