According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic has called Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi and informed him he wants to see him at his club next season.
West Brom have been linked with a move for the Kosovo international in recent weeks and earlier reports suggested they could make a move if they get promoted to the Premier League.
Bilic has reportedly told Muriqi how much he likes him as a footballer and believes he would be a great addition to his West Brom squad.
Muriqi has reportedly said to Bilic that he would love to play in the Premier League if both sides reach an agreement over his transfer.
Takvim add that West Brom have made an official offer for the 26 year old and talks between the two sides are going very well.
This season the former Caykur Rizespor striker has scored 17 goals for Fenerbahce in all competitions. His contract with the Turkish side will expire at the end of June 2023.
