After spending the last three seasons out on loan at AC Milan, AS Monaco and Napoli, Tiemoue Bakayoko has an opportunity to leave Chelsea on a permanent transfer in the summer.
Over the past few days, multiple reports in Italy have discussed the Rossoneri’s interest in the midfielder.
The 26-year-old is now represented by Niagara Sports Company, and the agency has collaborated with another agency, FIRST, to deal with the Italian market.
Last week, Marco Branca of FIRST was seen at the Serie A side’s headquarters, Casa Milan.
Calciomercato interviewed Bakayoko’s agent Andy Bara and asked if his partner meeting with the leaders of the Serie A side could help the Blues player return to the San Siro.
Responding to that, Bara said: “It is possible, Milan are looking for a player with his characteristics and it is likely that they can make a proposal. At the moment, Tiemoue is a Chelsea player, but there is a possibility to change his shirt and go to an Italian team.
“Milan are a great team and if the opportunity arises we will do everything possible to bring him to the Rossoneri. Maldini and Massara know him, they know what he can give.”
The Frenchman has a year left on his contract with the Champions League winners, meaning it would be their last chance to make cash through his sale in the summer.
Bakayoko’s agent has now stressed his client is likely to leave the west London club for good this time.
“I don’t think he will go away on loan like he did with Napoli, his contract doesn’t allow it. I don’t know the price at the moment, I don’t decide on this and it wouldn’t be serious to talk about this,” Bara explained.
