According to a claim in the Turkish media, Watford are set to table another offer for Fernerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza.
Earlier in this transfer window we covered claims from Turkey that Watford had offered €9m for the Brazilian midfielder.
Fotomac have reported on the latest developments over Souza’s future at Fenerbahce with the player’s contract set to expire next summer.
This has led to claims Souza could be offloaded by the Yellow Canaries, but it seems their new manger Philip Cocu is keen to keep the player at the club.
Cocu has been impressed with what he’s seen of Souza during preseason and subsequently sporting director Damien Comolli could now keep him at the Istanbul club.
However, this doesn’t seem to have deterred Watford, at least according to the Turkish media, and it’s claimed they are ‘set to make a new offer’.
