It seems Watford are still to take a decision about the future of Marco Navarro.
Reports from Spain claim that Leganés continue to be keen on landing the player on a loan deal, but ‘the case remains stopped’.
Outlet AS reports today that the La Liga side are still waiting for the green light from the Hornets, since there’s already an agreement between club and player.
They write that since the start of the negotiations, Leganés made clear that the chances of getting the deal done would always depend on the stance of the Premier League side.
Leganés are reportedly trying to get Navarro on a loan deal with an option to buy. But an agreement doesn’t seem very close, since the right-back is currently doing preseason with the Hornets in Austria.
Navarro signed for Watford on a €2m deal from Espanyol last summer. He barely played for the club, getting only four appearances during the 2018/19 season.
