Earlier this month, Watford confirmed to have completed a deal in signing Edo Kayembe from KAS Eupen.
The midfielder signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Vicarage Road and made his debut for his new side in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
Claudio Ranieri’s side are still actively looking to further strengthen the squad before the winter market closes and have identified one of Kayembe’s former teammates as a target.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who have a short report on the Premier League side’s interest in Emmanuel Agbadou.
The report’s title states ‘Watford are negotiating for Emmanuel Agbadou’ and within the report, they only mention about the English club holding talks with the player.
Foot Mercato provide no details on what stage the talks between the two clubs are at or if Eupen would be interested to let the Ivory Coast defender leave in January.
