It’s been over a month since the Premier League transfer window closed and even though clubs can’t bring in new players until it reopens in January, preparation for the next market has already started.

According to Calciomercato, scouts from Watford, Ajax, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund were in attendance at Stadio Mario Rigamonti to watch Brescia’s 3-4 defeat to Bologna.

It’s claimed the representatives of the Hornets were there to watch a handful of players as they were on an ‘exploratory mission’ during their trip in Italy.

One of the main attractions was Brescia’s Sandro Tonali. The 19-year-old has already been courted by clubs in Italy and across Europe in the past so it’s no surprise if Watford and others have sent scouts to watch the defensive midfielder in action.

Riccardo Orsolini’s 80th minute goal helped Bologna beat Brescia and the forward’s impressive displays for Italy’s U21 side have seen the 22 year old draw attention from clubs across the continent.
