Watford are reportedly interested in the Palermo star Igor Coronado.

As reported by website Tutto Mercato Web this Tuesday, the Hornets have been ‘studying’ the player recently, and now wonder if they will go for him in the summer window.

The plan could be go to action ‘in the next few weeks’.

Despite being still 25 years of age, Coronado has had quite a curious career. He has some experience in England, having played for MK Dons’ academy.

He later featured for Swiss, Polish and Italian clubs, until being signed by Palermo last summer in a €1.4m deal.

The player has featured in several positions in Serie B this season, from central midfield to centre forward. With three goals and eight assists so far, he was quick on adapting to the club, and this versatility seems to be attracting interest from Watford and others.

Now we wait and see how much will Palermo ask for him.
