Manchester United duo Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are on Juventus’ list of possible targets as they focus on ‘disgruntled players’.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the pair are options for the Italian giants as they eye up options to bolster their forward line.
The newspaper explains that Juventus are ‘sniffing out’ options on the market and looking for an ‘opportunity to seize’.
First and foremost, they will have to get rid of players they don’t currently want, the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Arthur, and if they can do so, then a centre-forward is at the top of their list.
The focus is on players who are ‘inexpensive, do not earn too much and are ready immediately’ given the season is halfway through, and this business will be done in January.
That same search is aiming at ‘disgruntled players’, which means Juventus will have to run the risk of signing older players.
One such option is Cavani, who it’s said is out of favour at Manchester United after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival, and looking to leave before his contract ends next summer.
A move has been heavily mooted in January, and Barcelona are ‘in the fast lane’, but Juventus could move as well.
Then there is Martial. He is also out of favour under Ralf Rangnick and has subsequently been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford as a result.
It’s seemingly something both parties want, and even though Manchester United will not sell him ‘at a bargain place,’ he is a player to ‘watch out’ for when it comes to Juventus.
That’s because there is ‘no feeling’ between his agent and Rangnick, meaning a move may be easy to secure if they can convince him that Turin is the best destination for him in January.
