Odsonne Édouard has been the standout player for Celtic this season as the striker has managed 27 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.
The 22-year-old’s stellar performances for Neil Lennon’s side have drawn attention, particularly from France.
Lyon and Lille are ‘thinking seriously’ about the former Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate, report Le10 Sport.
Lille director of football Luís Campos and his team have been closely monitoring the Hoops star.
The Ligue 1 side could be in danger of losing Victor Osimhen in the upcoming window and Édouard is viewed as one of the potential targets to replace him.
However, Lille will face a ‘problem’ in signing the Celtic frontman because of his asking price. According to the report, it would be between €30-40m, which is deemed too high for them.
Lyon, on the other hand, would be able to afford Édouard’s price tag. They view the Scottish Premiership star as one of the candidates to replace Moussa Dembélé, if the latter decides to leave Lyon.
Apart from Lyon and Lille, Le10 states RB Leipzig have also shown interest in the player.
With several suitors, it remains to be seen whether or not Celtic will be able to retain Édouard.
