David Silva will leave the Etihad after finishing this season with Manchester City.

The Spaniard’s contract with the Premier League winners runs until June 30th (likely to be extended for a few weeks if the season is extended to July) and he’s already expressed his desire to leave the Citizens.

Silva has been linked with a handful of clubs in Europe and across the globe, and the competition for his signature is likely to grow in the coming weeks.

TuttoMercatoWeb now brings the latest update and it’s claimed Qatari club Al Sadd ‘think about’ the former Valencia man and they could move for the Spaniard.

Xavi is currently in charge of the Asian club and his presence at Al Sadd could be vital, if they have any hope of signing the City star.

Calciomercato.it also echoes claims made by TMW with regards to Al Sadd and further add Silva is also on the radar of Milan and the MLS clubs.

Regarding the Serie A side, the report states the Rossoneri would have approached the 34-year-old’s agent to make an attempt to bring him to the San Siro.

During an interview with ‘Mister Chip’, Pep Guardiola’s man again stressed his will soon finish his spell in Manchester.

“If I said one thing, I will go all the way. I have been here 10 years and I have achieved my goals; the cycle closes but this place will always remain very important for me. Now both me and my family need a new challenge,” Silva said, as quoted by Calciomercato.it.

Silva decided against revealing his future destination, but admitted he hopes to make his situation clear soon.

“For now, the market has stopped. My family is asking me questions and I am answering this way. We are training, for now, and I don’t think about anything else. I hope to find a solution soon,” he stressed.
