Milliyet journalist Serdar Saridag claims Besiktas are back in talks with Southampton to sign Fraser Forster.
The English goalkeeper could leave the Premier League club and we covered reports earlier this summer from Turkey that Besiktas were looking to sign him after selling Fabri to Fulham.
Saridag said alongside Forster, Kiko Casilla is also an option for Turkish club, along with Liverpool’s Loris Karius. The German is the Istanbul club’s first choice but if they can’t get a deal done with the Merseyside club then Forster is an option.
According to Saridag, Besiktas first contacted Forster to replace Fabri but after Southampton financial demands they turned their attention to Karius.
Forster has lost his spot to Alex McCarthy, and he may have to leave Southampton to get more first-team football.
The former Celtic goalkeeper made just 20 appearances in the Premier League last season and is under contract at Southampton until 2022.
