Kenneth Omeruo has been one of a large number of players who Chelsea need to send off on loan before the summer windows close around Europe.
The Premier League may club have seen their own window shut last Thursday, but they’re still able to send players elsewhere, and that’s certainly what the club has been working on.
Omeruo has had previous loan spells in Turkey and throughout this summer has been linked with a return to the country.
More than one Super Lig club has been interested in the Chelsea youngster but there’s appeared a preference to wait and see if any, more tempting, offers arrive from elsewhere.
Marca believe that’s been the case with Leganes.
In their Wednesday edition the Spanish newspaper reports that Omeruo is ‘already a Leganes player’, they treat the deal as done, and he’ll be arriving at the club imminently.
Initially moving on a loan deal, Marca say Leganes will have the option to sign the Chelsea player on a permanent deal next summer.
