Everton star Romelu Lukaku recently revealed he rejected Juventus to stay at the Merseyside club, and that was obviously going to be a big talking point in the Italian media.

The Serie A club spent big money to sign Gonzalo Higuain, but Italian website Calciomercato believe they’ll try to sign Lukaku again next summer.

Calciomercato say Juventus will ‘undoubtedly’ be looking to sign a striker next summer. The Serie A champions are looking for a young and physically strong striker, and Lukaku fits the profile.

Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola has already helped his clients secure big money moves to Manchester United this summer, and will be eager to do some business next summer as well.

It’s reported Everton asked €80m for Lukaku, and it will be difficult to take the Belgian international to Italy next summer.

Lukaku has another three years left on his contract at Everton, and the Merseyside club will be hoping to renew his contract soon, but that could get a bit tricky with the involvement of Mino Raiola.

Juventus currently have Higuain, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala, adding Lukaku may be a bit excessive.
