The English clubs are coming!
That’s the message from L’Equipe in their Monday edition.
The French newspaper has a big feature on Ligue 1 clubs and what they can expect this week with the Premier League and Championship closing their windows early this year.
Approaches are expected and some have already been made, making them ongoing situations that could be resolved before Thursday evening.
One of those is Brighton & Hove Albion moving for Ibrahim Sangare. L’Equipe say Toulouse’s president Olivier Sadran is renowned for being tough in the transfer market, but even he’ll be ‘tested’ right now.
Brighton are said to have made a €12m offer for Sangare, and given the way L’Equipe present things it seems that would be considered.
Sangare is a 20 year old Ivory Coast born midfielder, and he came through the ranks at Toulouse before making a real breakthrough last season.
The player only renewed his contract last summer but the €12m offer from Brighton is still a temptation.
