Tottenham Hotspur winger Ryan Sessegnon has attracted interest from Galatasaray, according to claims from Turkey.
Aspor writes that as the Istanbul side start preparing for next season, the 23-year-old’s name was added to their list of potential signings.
Highlighting Sessegnon’s speed, they point out that he’s barely played this season, and has a contract with Tottenham expiring in the summer of 2025.
It’s said the youngster ‘wants to open a new page in his career’, and that could perhaps be a sign that he’d accept a move to Turkey.
It now remains to be seen whether Tottenham would let him go. The fact is that Sessegnon hasn’t been playing due to injury, and a future may not be entirely ruled out at Spurs.
Tottenham will certainly evaluate whether he deserves a second chance in the first team squad, or whether a season extension and loan could be an option. The Turkish don’t say this yet, but that could be a good option for Galatasaray.
The winger, who joined Tottenham in a €27m move in 2019, is now valued by Transfermarkt at €13m.
