In need of a new striker in the January transfer window, Bologna are looking at Tottenham’s Alejo Véliz to bolster their attack.
The striker has barely played since he joined Spurs in the summer, with the move clearly one for the future in London, and the Serie A side are trying to take advantage of that.
We’ve covered multiple articles on the matter, and they continue to appear, as 1000 Cuori Rossoblu mention the Tottenham forward in a report.
He is said to be ‘the first name in contention’ on Bologna’s wishlist, and is a player that their technical director, Giovanni Sartori, likes ‘quite a lot’.
However, it’s made very clear that any negotiations with Tottenham will not be ‘the simplest’, because we all know what Daniel Levy is like when it comes to these kind of deals.
The expectation is that the potential cost of a ‘redemption’, meaning an option to buy in the loan, will be very high if it is to be added to a deal.
As previously stated in the past, it would be very surprising if Tottenham were to agree to anything other than a dry loan for him to get minutes, considering Véliz was only bought in the summer.
