It’s all going rather quickly for Michy Batshuayi at the moment.
First came Monday night’s Crystal Palace’s offer of €38m + a percentage of sell on fee for Marseille, which was accepted by the Ligue 1 club.
Then came the news on Tuesday from The Times the player had rejected the London club’s offer, preferring to wait for other teams to come in for him.
At around the same time, reports emerged around France and England that Tottenham had rekindled their interest in the Belgian striker as they look for a backup for Harry Kane.
The player is said to have told Marseille he wants to leave the club to play in Italy with Juventus, and the player’s agent is allegedly already in talks with the Serie A champions to get a deal done.
Don’t you think it’s rather convenient that England reports say the player wants a Premier League move while Italian media claim he would prefer to play in Italy? We do.
As for France, where the player currently plays, they say Premier League over Serie A.
There are more twists in this one, and the bias isn’t about to stop now.
