There have been repeated claims on the future on Leandro Paredes coming from the Italian media over the past 24 hours, with several Premier League clubs linked with the midfielder.
Corriere dello Sport say in their Sunday edition that Tottenham and West Ham are the ‘most active’ to sign the 22 year old, but right now it seems a case of the Italian media just picking out names of possible English destinations. And Tottenham and West Ham are as good as any.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham have been linked by several articles this weekend, West Ham not so much. The increased spending power at West Ham, following reaching an agreement over the sale of Dimitri Payet, will likely see Slaven Bilic linked to more players before the close of the transfer window.
AS Roma are thought to be willing to sell Paredes after signing Clement Grenier from Lyon, and making efforts to sign Frank Kessie, although his arrival is considered likelier in the summer window.
Tottenham, West Ham, and any other Premier League clubs which can be plucked from thin air, would have to pay around €25m for the player.
