Claims continue on Tottenham and Adrien Rabiot, despite another report the player isn’t keen on the move, at least in this window.
L’Equipe report on Monday that Tottenham have been ‘following the case for months’ and sent an offer to PSG with the hope of completing a transfer ‘in the comings days’.
Despite what has been said elsewhere about L’Equipe’s presentation of Rabiot’s response, it’s nowhere near as harsh. The French newspaper state: ‘The Rabiot clan’s first reaction, again mourning in recent days, was to let it be known that he wasn’t interested.’
There’s been a family bereavement.
Just like Paris United did at the weekend, L’Equipe name other interested sides: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool.
They would want a summer transfer, according to the small report. A summer transfer may also be the preference of the player at this point, which would be hampering Spurs.
Catalan newspaper Sport cover things from a Barcelona perspective, and they say Tottenham are the ‘latest’ club to have submitted an offer.
Barca remain interested but securing Frenkie de Jong has left them not quite as keen as they would have been otherwise.
