Italian newspaper La Nazione today features a big piece on Dusan Vlahovic, who’s been standing out for Fiorentina and could soon be the reason for a big battle in the transfer market.
The outlet writes that clubs from Italy, Germany and England should all be after the striker this summer, and La Viola are preparing for this chase.
While Roma would like to keep the player in Serie A, it’s Borussia Dortmund who’d like to take him to the Bundesliga, while Tottenham Hotspur are the Premier League side going after him.
Especially regarding Spurs, it’s said the London side have been ‘following the Italian market closely’, and ‘turned on the spotlight of its future starting from the Fiorentina centre-forward’.
The newspaper claims that just like Borussia Dortmund, Spurs should have no problem making a heavy investment on the Serbian, whose market value is said to be between €50m and €60m.
Since Roma have fallen short when bidding for Vlahovic in the past, perhaps it’s really Tottenham againts the German side.
Earlier today, newspaper La Repubblica had already talked about Spurs’ interest in the player, claiming they were one of the ‘important’ clubs chasing him. They highlighted how important the striker is for Fiorentina, who’ll do their best to renew his contract and keep him for longer.
