Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the signing of two Lens players, according to reports from the French media today.
Jeunes Footeux that Spurs ‘strongly appreciate’ the profiles of midfielders Seko Fofana and Cheick Doucoure.
It’s claimed that at Lens’ 3-0 win over Nice on Sunday, Tottenham had a scout watching the duo ‘with a view to the next summer market’.
The report points out Lens will have ‘difficulty’ to keep hold of their best players in the next transfer window, and now have to worry about this interest from the Premier League side.
It’s just not said how much they’d demand for the duo.
Doucore is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €10m, while Fofana, who captains the French side, stands with a bigger price, of €20m.
The duo have been forming an impressive midfield partnership in Ligue 1 this season, and in case Tottenham get to sign both, they’d undoubtedly arrive to London with a great chemistry between them.
