Needing some funds to try and strike a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku permanently, Inter Milan are going to sell André Onana.

Who to remains to be seen, but the general feeling is the goalkeeper will bring in around €50m before bonuses, meaning the Serie A side will need a replacement.

In their eyes, this is an expendable position, at least in the short-term, meaning they are willing to get someone in on a free, which is where Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris would come in, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The French shot stopper has made it clear this is the end of his adventure at Spurs, and a move is expected this summer.

Whether or not Tottenham make some money from it remains to be seen, as the 36-year-old still has a year left on his contract.

Inter, down their end, are targeting him and Keylor Navas, as Gazzetta believe both Spurs and Paris-Saint Germain players ‘can be released by their clubs’ this summer on a free.

With Tottenham signing Guglielmo Vicario, they have already secured the future at the position, and therefore could allow Lloris to choose his next destination without a hindrance as a thank you for his services over the years.

That’s what Inter are hoping for, and why they are looking at him, able to give him one final adventure at the top before he taps out of football for good.
