While Tottenham might not be throwing around wads of cash on the transfer market, that doesn’t mean they aren’t thinking about their future, as scouts continue to do their job around Europe.
One of the latest findings for Spurs has been Andoni Pérez, currently contracted at Danok Bat in Spain, where he plays for their U19s.
According to the normally very reliable El Correo, Tottenham have joined the list of clubs interested in the attacking midfielder, seen as one of the more ‘destabilising’ players in his division.
Described as a ‘different kind of footballer’, ‘special’ and ‘capable of changing a game at any moment’, the 18-year-old is being closely monitored by Barcelona, Real Sociedad and, of course, Tottenham.
Both Spurs and Sociedad ‘have him on their agenda’, and a transfer could take place sooner rather than later, as his deal with the Danok Bat youth team ends in June.
One to certainly keep an eye on.
